Post game, the Eagles made no injury announcement but DeSean Jackson was seen in a walking boot and he posted a picture of the boot on Instagram. This essentially confirms the right high ankle sprain. The severity is yet to be determined but reports suggest they are looking into surgery as a possible solution which is unexpected and unusual in the NFL. There was a penalty for the first hit on the punt return, but the late hit lead to the injury where his foot was trapped. Jackson had just returned from a three week absence due to a hamstring strain. Jackson will be lucky if he can avoid an injured reserve stint but that seems to be the likely scenario.
