Deshaun Watson had already been dealing with issues in his elbow with UCL and potential nerve problems, when he hurt it again versus Cincinnati this week. He was wound up to throw when his hand was caught in a defender’s facemask, torquing the elbow even more. From the final 3 throws he made after returning to the game, he did not appear 100% as he made some shorter, softer throws despite being down in the 4th quarter. The Texans said he might play Week 17, but they may shut down their franchise quarterback.
