Carson Wentz, the Indianapolis Colts quarterback, is dealing with sprains to both of his ankles, but we expect him to suit up as a starter in Week 3 against the Titans. Wentz reportedly suffered a high-ankle sprain in his right ankle and an inversion sprain in his left ankle when he was tackled by Rams defensive end Aaron Donald in the fourth quarter of Week 2. Wentz told reporters Wednesday that his right ankle was hurting more than the left ankle. He is also not 100% healthy from the surgery he had on his left foot in the offseason. Although we expect the North Dakota State alum to start Sunday, he won't be nearly as effective as if he was fully healthy. Planting on the right foot and transferring weight to throw the ball could prove difficult for the 28-year-old quarterback. Wentz missed practice Wednesday, but with backup Sam Ehlinger still out from a preseason knee injury we expect the Colts to stick with Wentz.
