Detroit Lions CB Jeff Okudah Exits Game, Fear For Achilles Injury

Detroit Lions CB Jeff Okudah exited the game with a lower left leg injury with 10:42 left in the fourth quarter. Head Coach Dan Campbell mentioned after the game that Okudah could have an ankle or Achilles injury. There was not good video available on it, but an Achilles injury would be consistent with an away from ball change of direction. The on field exam for an Achilles injury is very clear so the Lions' staff already know what his injury is. He was reportedly carted to the locker room after he was helped to the tunnel, which would make sense for an Achilles injury. We fear that the second-year corner's season may be over with a surgery necessary.
