DeVante Parker: Patriots WR Exits With Knee Sprain

Update: Parker did not return to the game and he is unlikely to return for the Patriots against the Colts in Week 9.

New England Patriots veteran wideout DeVante Parker left the game against the Jets in the first quarter with an apparent right knee injury.

By video, Parker suffered a right knee MCL sprain when he was rolled up on by cornerback D.J. Reed on an incompletion, according to the Pro Football Docs.

Parker was deemed questionable to return and went to the locker room a short time later.

The Pro Football Docs do not expect to see him back in the game and he is unlikely to be ready for next week's contest against the Colts.

Tyquan Thornton and Nelson Agholor will likely see more work with Parker out.
