Worst case scenario comes true. Word came out that it was a clavicle fracture. Likely will undergo surgery to insure healing and provide earlier return to football in 6-8 weeks. Possible that today's smaller/narrower shoulder pads don't help the risk of broken collarbones as their is little lateral padding.
