Devonta Freeman played just 12 snaps last Thursday before exiting with an ankle injury for the rest of the contest. He was spotted at the Giants practice facility working out on a side field away from the team during Tuesday's practice, and while it is good news that he is active he may be limited or out in practice this week. His practice statuses will be crucial to determining his availability for week 8, and if he is unable to return Wayne Gallman and Dion Lewis will take over again. Gallman scored a TD and netted 54 yards from scrimmage, and would be in line to take lead back duties as the injury bug continues to strike the Giants backfield.
