The former Falcon was signed to replace Saquan Barkley after the stud running back tore his ACL Week 2. Now after injuring his ankle and missing the last two weeks, the Giants have elected to place Freeman on IR. He will miss at least the next three games and is now unlikely to regain the Giants lead role if he can come back before the season ends.
