Earlier this preseason, he sprained his MCL and we indicated that it would cost him multiple weeks of practice time but he would be ready for the season. That seems to be the case now where his status has been upgraded to day to day. That doesn't mean that he will play this week in the second preseason game, in fact we feel he won't. This does give him a chance to see some limited action in the final third preseason game and be ready to go for the start of the season. As expected, the MCL knee sprain itself physically should have little effect on him, but the cost is lack of acclamation to the NFL in practice, and less time to sync up with Jalen Hurts.
