Diontae Johnson Out Week 3 With Knee Injury

Diontae Johnson, the Steelers No. 1 wide receiver, has been ruled out ahead of Pittsburgh's Week 3 game against the Bengals. Johnson did not practice all week after injuring his right knee on the last play of the Steelers' Week 2 loss to the Raiders. Based on one angle of video, we did not see enough to gauge Johnson's injury. However, we do think he avoided serious injury and we hope he can make a return Week 4 against the Packers. Johnson was presumably held out this week because his knee was painful and swollen. In two games this year, the 25-year-old wide receiver had 14 catches for 141 yards and a touchdown. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Chase Claypool should see increased targets in Johnson's absence.
