The status of Jacksonville's top receiver's injury still remains somewhat of a mystery. He exited the game with 7:09 left the fourth quarter and did not return. Upon review of the All-22 coaches film he runs an out route, and collides with a defender who runs through him, likely injuring his left ankle. The footage is shot from the sidelines and endzone and there is no clear view of the ankle injury. In many ways this is good news, as we cannot be certain of his ankle injury but if it were severe, or high ankle sprain or something long-term there would be more visual clues in the footage. The lack of obvious injury mechanism from the film bodes well for Chark’s return next week. Wednesday's practice report will be our next sign, and if he does not play they will continue to lean on Laviska Shenault Jr. and Keelan Cole at WR.
