Disgruntled Lions and Seahawks fans may think Ansah is injury prone but a closer look may prove differently. In his last year with the Lions, Ansah suffered a Week 1 shoulder injury which caused him to miss the next six games but was able to return to play and was productive. Ansah tried to play through a labral tear which was then operated on in the offseason but the recovery from that surgery leaked into 2019 season. He suffered back, ankle and neck injuries with the Seahawks and missed the divisional round playoff game. He will certainly need an in person physical and at 31 years old, his age will play a factor but medically we believe he can still contribute.
