Daniels had been previously healthy in his first five NFL seasons until recently when in 2018 he missed six plus games with a foot injury and had a subpar year. The recovery lingered into training camp and he was cut by the Packers before the Lions quickly signed him. Daniels played the first three games with a sprained right foot before missing the next five and then ending the year on injured reserve with an arm injury. Daniels seems to be healthy going into free agency but a team will want to check his arm and foot to be sure before commiting to the former Pro Bowl defensive lineman.
