Don't Miss Out on Our NFL Draft Coverage

With the 2023-24 NFL season officially in the books, our injury coverage now shifts to the NFL draft. Comprehensive coverage of all high-profile NBA injuries will continue on our NBA page, but our staff will also draw on the decades of experience of the NFL draft process to highlight which players have “red flags” entering the NFL.

Last offseason, our panel of doctors detailed why Tyree Wilson was likely to drop in the draft given the trajectory of his recovery from surgery to correct a Lisfranc sprain in his foot.

That turned out to be the case, as the Texans drafted Will Anderson Jr. at No. 3 with Wilson falling to the Raiders at No. 7.

Wilson underperformed in his rookie season despite playing in all 17 games. He had 3.5 sacks, 29 combined tackles and 2 tackles for a loss.

Anderson was selected to the Pro Bowl and won AP Defensive Rookie of the Year with 7 sacks, 45 combined tackles and 10 tackles for a loss in 15 games.

Our 2023 NFL Draft Guide also covered the injury histories of Anthony Richardson, Jordan Addison, Dalton Kincaid and other notable rookies.

This year's coverage will feature players like Blake Corum, Jayden Daniels, Michael Pennix Jr. and more.
