Drew Brees has a chance to play this week, and Sean Payton said "we'll see what he can do on Wednesday". This leaves things open and his 3 week IR window has opened. It's been 4 weeks since his rib fractures on the left side, and 3 weeks since those on the right. He's also had the chance to recover from his lung issues as weell. Ironically, the Saints are 8-0 in the past two years without Brees, but his potential return to the offense is very good news for the team. His practice status will be key but as it stands, it looks like he's 50-50 to start.
