We believed that Drew Brees' shoulder injury wouldn't affect his game too much, and indeed he pulled out a victory as the Saints faced Tampa Bay. He has never been a big-armed QB to begin with and relies more on reading the field and precision passing than gunning it downfield, and he had a great performance on SNF. This shoulder injury will likely give him some discomfort in the weeks to come, but he has proven he can be effective regardless.
