In 2018, the former TCU defensive tackle Ross Blacklock ruptured his Achilles’ tendon. The lineman was healthy during the 2019 season generating 40 tackles and 9 tackles for loss. This injury should be behind him, but leaves Blacklock at a higher risk to tear his other Achilles tendon due to human bodies being created symmetrically. The physical specimen offers Pro Bowl potential and could go as high as the first round but will likely slide to the second round due to worries about his Achilles.
