Update: Slay and Mailata did not return to the game, but both have a chance to play in Week 5. Slay is likely dealing with a forearm contusion, while Mailata can play next week with a shoulder strap for added stability.
The Philadelphia Eagles lost No. 1 cornerback Darius Slay and starting left tackle Jordan Mailata to injuries in the first quarter against the Jaguars.
Slay is questionable to return with a forearm injury, while Mailata is questionable to return with a right shoulder injury.
The severity of both injuries was not immediately clear, but medical personnel reportedly returned to the sideline without Slay.
That's not a good sign for his chances to return today. Philadelphia is now down their top two corners in Avonte Maddox (ankle) and Slay (forearm).
Mailata has a chance to return with a shoulder strap, depending on the severity of his injury.
The 25-year-old tackle was on the sideline after halftime attempting to test out his shoulder. Based on the strap he was wearing he likely dislocated his shoulder on the pick-six.
The Eagles are down to their third-string left tackle with Andre Dillard out as well.
