According to the Philadelphia Eagles’ injury report, the team is getting some desperately needed help for their week 2 matchup against the Rams. Lane Johnson, Jason Peters, and Miles Sanders will all enter the contest with no injury designation. Sanders and Johnson both made it clear, they’re ready to go full steam ahead. Johnson had a procedure on his ankle that was called a “clean up.” We believe it’s asking a lot of Johnson to be 100% after surgery. However, his presence alone could help sure up the offensive line. Peters popped up on the injury report this week with a knee issue but is expected to play. The 38-year-old didn’t look too good last week but he’s still the teams starter and “body guard.” Sanders dealt with a hamstring issue during the offseason and didn’t even travel with the team last week. We don’t believe he’ll be 100% as we noticed a slight hitch in Sanders’ step earlier in the week. Nevertheless, the Eagles are getting much needed pieces back and maybe Carson Wentz will have better blocking than he did last week.
