Isaac Seumalo, the Philadelphia Eagles left guard, reportedly suffered a Lisfranc injury in his right foot and will undergo season-ending surgery. Seumalo suffered the injury in the fourth quarter against the Cowboy and was carted to the locker room. By video, he took several steps backward while pass blocking and went down in obvious pain. Given the way his right foot and ankle collapsed, we had worry for a significant midfoot injury. Unfortunately it seems our fears are confirmed and the Eagles will be down another offensive lineman. Philadelphia lost right guard Brandon Brooks to a pectoral tear in Week 2 and left tackle was inactive for the Week 3 game with a knee injury. Nate Herbig will fill in at left guard.
