The Eagles running back quartet is in flux heading into Week 17 versus Washington, resulting in a noticeably-low SIC score of 59.1 for their rushing offense.
Starting back Miles Sanders is out with a broken hand he suffered Week 16 – which could keep him out for 4-6 weeks if he opts against surgery, according to ProFootballDoc, Dr. David Chao – while backup Jordan Howard is questionable while dealing with stinger, an injury that will limit him in the contest if he is able to play.
The stinger is a lingering issue that will take him out of the game early.
Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell should be the two rushers leading the charge, although neither have been as effective as Jalen Hurts, who is 2nd on the team with 740 yards and leads by a large margin with 10 TDs.
Gainwell will serve as a greater receiving weapon, as the rookie is fifth on the team with both 43 targets and 29 receptions.
Philadelphia is 8-7 and 5-1 in its last 6 games, pushing them into the 7th and final spot in the NFC playoffs.
