49ers CB Emmanuel Moseley Exits With Severe Knee Injury

Update: Emmanuel Moseley's ACL tear has been confirmed, leaving the 49ers down a starting CB heading into the Week 6 matchup with the Falcons.

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Emmanuel Moseley exited the 49ers win late in the fourth quarter with a severe-looking left knee injury.

Based on multiple video angles, Moseley would be fortunate to avoid an ACL tear, according to the Pro Football Docs.

Moseley's left knee appeared to shift when he planted his leg on a deep incompletion to D.J. Moore.

The fifth-year cornerback limped off the field, but that does not indicate the severity of his knee injury. He did not go to the locker room, which is a potential positive sign for his longevity this season.

Ambry Thomas and Deommodore Lenoir may see more time if Moseley's ACL tear is confirmed. Veteran CB Jason Verrett is recovering from his own ACL tear last season and is on the PUP list.
