Erik Harris Tears Pectoral Tendon, Out For Season

Falcons free safety Erik Harris left Sunday's game in the first quarter with a chest injury. By video, he appeared to tear his left pectoral tendon on a tackle for a loss on running back Chuba Hubbard. He remained in for two plays after, but did not appear to have use of his left arm.

He was deemed questionable to return with a chest injury. If the torn pectoral is confirmed, Harris would be out for the season.

Harris was playing in his first season in Atlanta after signing a one-year deal in the offseason. Jaylinn Hawkins will fill in at free safety.
