Cavaliers' big men Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley were both ruled out for Tuesday's contest against the Magic as the Cavs look to hold onto the No. 7 seed in the East.
Allen is still out indefinitely with the broken left ring finger he suffered on March 6, and while it is unclear when he will return, the ProBasketballDocs anticipate his finger will be healed by the start of the playoffs next week.
Mobley, meanwhile, will miss his 5th straight game with a standard inversion right ankle sprain that the Docs say normally takes around 2.5 weeks to heal. Mobley, the No. 2 overall pick and the betting favorite to win Rookie of The Year, suffered the sprain March 28 against the Magic and should be back and ready by the playoffs.
Moses Brown, who the Cavs signed earlier this season after he was dropped by the Mavericks, is averaging 13 points and 11.8 rebounds in 4 starts while Caris LeVert is posting 17.2 points and 5.2 rebounds over his last 6 games.
Star point guard Darius Garland has taken his game to another level since the all-star break regardless of the pick-and-roll partner, averaging 25.1 points and 10.4 assists in his last 18 games, seeing few lingering effects from the back issue he dealt with in January and February.
