The Cowboys have issues at both ends of their roster, beginning at OL and DB. Their line has been a strength on this team for years, but with Tyron Smith listed as questionable, their tackle depth will be seriously tested. They have lost RT La’el Collins and swing tackle Cameron Erving to IR, and Terence Steele has struggled in relief on the right side. If they have to fall back on a youngster like Alex Light or Brandon Knight on the blindside, this unit could be in serious trouble. They’ve lost longtime center Travis Frederick to retirement this offseason, LG Connor Williams is still getting back to full speed after a torn ACL, and if Tyron Smith doesn’t play, RG Zach Martin will be the only remaining starter who’s playing at 100%. Corner was a pressing concern this offseason for Dallas after losing Byron Jones, and now that Chidobe Awuzie, Anthony Brown, and Maruice Canady are out, the depth of this group is looking dubious as well.
