Falcons Starting LG Breaks Hand In Practice

Josh Andrews, the Falcons’ starting left guard, was placed on injured reserve after breaking his hand in practice on Tuesday. He will have surgery and is eligible to return. Under the current IR rules, players have to remain on the IR list for at least three weeks. He has a five week recovery time so it seems very likely he will be ready to go again for the Falcons when they play the Washington Football Team in Week 4.
