All-Star center Jarrett Allen has not played since suffering a fractured left ring finger on March 6 and will not play in Tuesday's play-in tournament matchup with the Nets, the team confirmed.
Allen reportedly resumed on-court activities on March 26, but was still seen recently with tape on his injured finger.
The ProBasketballDocs believe Allen will be available to play if the Cavaliers advance to a playoff series. His recovery timeline was between 4-to-6 weeks and he is about to enter his fifth week since the injury.
Cleveland never really found an answer for Allen's absence in the final month. The Cavaliers were 35-21 with him this season and 8-11 since his finger injury.
Evan Mobley, Kevin Love and Moses Brown have attempted to fill the gap left by Allen, but his production could not be replicated.
The 23-year-old center averaged 1.3 blocks in 56 games this season. He also added 16.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per game, both career highs, while shooting 67.7% from the field, another career high.
Cleveland allowed 107.3 points per game to opponents when Allen played and 108.9 points per game without him.
The Brooklyn Nets averaged 119.9 points per game in March and 119 points per game so far in April.
Brooklyn is favored by 8.5-points at home and the over/under is 228.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
