Three Bengals were unable to practice in Wednesday's estimated walkthrough.
Tight end C.J. Uzomah, pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson and defensive end Cameron Sample were all listed as "DNP."
Uzomah's injury is the most concerning of the three. He suffered an MCL sprain in last week's win over the Chiefs and is facing an uphill battle to be active.
Drew Sample would play in his place if Uzomah is inactive or reinjures his left knee during the game.
Hendrickson was listed with an illness, something that will resolve well ahead of Super Bowl LVI on Feb. 13.
Although Cam Sample is a backup, his absence would hurt a defensive line already thin because of Larry Ogunjobi and Joseph Ossai's injuries.
Sample has been listed with the hamstring injury since Week 17, meaning the extra week of rest could be enough for him to be near full health in time for the Super Bowl.
Fourth-year defensive tackle Josh Tupou, another backup, was limited in Wednesday's estimation with a knee injury that caused him to miss last week. He should be able to suit up for the game two Sundays from now.
The Bengals are 4.5-point underdogs against the Rams, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
