The Lions center Frank Ragnow has now been downgraded to out for Week 15 versus the Titans, despite playing three plus quarters with a laryngeal fracture. Often specialists want to be conservative with return to play and that seems to be the case here. Count on Ragnow subsequently being placed on injured reserve and not playing the rest of this season, even if Detroit can pull off a victory and stay in remote playoff contention. As we said before, if one cannot play through the laryngeal fracture, the healing time is long, and we do not expect him to return before the end of this season.
