On the Jaguars’ final drive, Gardner Minshew was hit low in the pocket, with his left foot and ankle trapped as it was externally rotated. This injury does not match the severity of Saquan Barkley’s ankle injury. However, one could compare it to Patrick Mahomes’ ankle injury, where he was limping during his week one matchup, but continued to play well. Do not be surprised if we see Minshew in a walking boot overnight, depending on the swelling. My expectation is he may be limited in practice or even miss some practice time, but I expect him to play next week. Even with the ankle, Minshew led a comeback to beat Denver.
