The Raptors are expecting to have a more active Gary Trent Jr. tonight as the 23-year-old wing overcomes the non-Covid illness that has limited him the first two games against the 76ers.
Rookie star Scottie Barnes, meanwhile, is listed as doubtful as he rehabs the left ankle sprain he suffered in Game 1.
Barnes, who head coach Nick Nurse said “maybe” will play tonight, was seen at Toronto's practice facility without a walking boot four days since the significant sprain.
Trent Jr. has scored nine total points on 2-14 shooting in the series and played on 9:44 in Game 2 while dealing with the illness. FanDuel Sportsbook has Trent Jr.'s over/under for points at 14.5 and is $5300 on DFS.
Precious Achiuwa started and scored seven points with six rebounds in Monday's loss while Chris Boucher scored 17 points with eight rebounds 29 minutes off the bench, playing a lot of garbage time once the game got out of hand.
Veteran Thaddeus Young, who missed the second half of Game 1 with a thumb sprain, played eight minutes off the bench.
The Raptors will also get the benefit of facing the Sixers without defensive instigator Matisse Thybulle who is ineligible to cross the border into Canada because he is not fully vaccinated.
