Gary Trent Jr. Out vs. Bulls With Hyperextended Big Toe

Raptors guard Gary Trent Jr. will miss Monday night's game against the Chicago Bulls with a hyperextended big toe on his left foot.

Fred Van Vleet, who has managed knee soreness all season, is reportedly expected to play.

Trent has averaged 18 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals on 40.7% shooting from the field and 37.6% shooting from three this season.

Toronto may struggle to replace that production, especially with OG Anunoby and Malachi Flynn also out.

Anunoby suffered a fractured right ring finger in late February, while Flynn has been out the past week with a hamstring strain.

Those absences will likely open more shot opportunities for Van Vleet ($7,300 on FanDuel), Pascal Siakam ($9,100) and Scottie Barnes ($8,500).

Depth shooting guard Yuta Watanabe ($3,500) could also see more minutes if the Raptors fail to keep the game close against the 41-29 Bulls.

Zach Lavine ($7,600) should be the main beneficiary on offense for Chicago with Trent out.

The Bulls are 4-point favorites at home and the over/under is 221, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
