The 49ers reported good news from the MRI saying “minor ailments “ to the knee. The question is what does that really mean? Certainly we know he does not have a major ligament or structural issue, or he would not have returned to the game. What is this minor ailment? A bone bruise could be considered a minor ailment, where there is no structural damage. If there is a bone bruise, depending on where it is, Kittle could still end up missing time.
