The 49ers star tight end was unavailable Monday night for the NFC showdown but watched from a luxury suite. It has been 11 days from original injury where he played three quarters after injury before exiting on Halloween. He has not practiced since and is listed with knee / ankle injury an a MRI showed "minor issues". We continue to have worries of an intra-articular bone bruise. We pointed out that while watching from the box and not on the sideline with teammates, that he seemed to favor his left side majority of his time when shown on camera. He was seen holding onto the window frames for support and shifting weight to his right side whenever standing. His head coach says he is day to day today but has not indicated that he would practice. He said it would be later in the week before a determination would be made. Obviously, it is far from guaranteed that he will play in week 11 and this fits with our original in-game worries. It is not impossible that his absence could linger weeks and maybe longer if indeed the knee joint bone bruise is confirmed. (Indeed, 49ers head coach admitted to Arizona media that Kittle would miss his 2nd straight game this week as we suspected. And then the team came back and said no final decision has been made but we all know where this is headed for week 11.)
