Giants starting strong safety Jabrill Peppers was placed on IR Tuesday after reportedly rupturing his ACL Sunday. Peppers will miss the rest of the season. He also suffered a high ankle sprain in the same right leg in the 25-3 win over the Panthers. By video, we saw the right high ankle sprain, but did not see the knee injury component.
Peppers had 30 combined tackles and 1 sack in six games this year. The 26-year-old will be a free agent this upcoming off season.
