The Giants have an assortment of injuries on the offensive end heading into Week 8 and have added to the list with both WRs Sterling Shepard and Dante Pettis being ruled out. Shepard has recently returned from a hamstring issue but suffered a hit to the hip/quad area while Pettis suffered a blow to his shoulder on a punt. Shepard has continued to deal with injuries this season but this specific injury will make it difficult to get off the line of scrimmage and this is just another muscle injury that has bumped him out of a contest prematurely. Players like Kadarius Toney, who recently returned from an ankle injury, and John Ross will need to step up if the Giants have a chance to comeback against the Chiefs.
