Giants Saquon Barkley, Kenny Golladay Ruled Out For MNF Against Kansas City

The Giants will be without top running back Saquon Barkley and top wide receiver Kenny Golladay for yet another game when they face the Chiefs Monday. Although Barkley did not practice all week, we believe he's recovered well and has a solid chance to return next week against the Raiders. The silver lining for Barkley's ankle injury is that his surgically repaired right knee got some much needed rest. Golladay's status is a little more murky. The former Lions wide receiver was also injured Week 5 and has not practiced since. The original reported estimate for the right knee injury was for Golladay to miss 1-2 weeks. This is the third week Golladay will miss and we hope he can return to help the Giants passing attack soon.

Wide receivers Kadarius Toney and Sterling Shepard seem on track to play. Toney reaggravated an ankle injury Week 6 and missed Week 7. Shepard has been hampered by a hamstring strain since Week 3 and missed last week. In Week 6 against the Rams, he had 10 catches for 76 yards.
