Gilmore Suffers Apparent Non-Contact Knee Injury

New England's star corner was back peddling and appeared to suffer a non-contact knee injury late second quarter. He had an earlier knee issue this season, which caused him to miss three games. There is worry for right knee ACL tear and he was unable to reach the sidelines without help from team personnel. Gilmore has been called doubtful to return. The hope is that he suffered a knee injury including a meniscus tear and not an ACL tear. In any case, Gilmore is likely out for the rest of the season. The extent of the injury is to be determined, but there is some optimism it's not the dreaded ACL tear.
