The new Bucs running back saw his last action in the final seconds of the first half, where he ran a route down the right sideline. The camera did not follow him but he appeared to slip. Bernard came into the game with a mild ankle issue. By video, he did slip and fall down, but it is unclear whether it was an aggravation to his ankle. The former Bengal has not returned for the second half of the game. At this point, no evidence of a serious setback, but clearly an aggravation that kept him out the second half. Bernard was able to return in the 4th and catches two passes.
