Godwin Injured Again, Pulls Hamstring Late In Game

Having just returned from a one-week absence due to being in concussion protocol, Godwin did not finish the game versus the Broncos. He went down in the fourth quarter with an injury, and while there were some early reports of a cramp by video he appeared to pull up with a hamstring strain. Hopefully the strain is mild and is more due to tightness from his short concussion absence and the acclamation risk of a muscle soft tissue injury. Godwin is getting an MRI today that will determine the amount of time that he will miss. Counterpart Mike Evans had a hamstring injury early this season where he was a decoy Week 1 but has recovered nicely. Hopefully Godwin can mimic this same return pattern. Slot option Scotty Miller is actually the Bucs lead receiver right now, meaning between him, Evans, OJ Howard and Gronkowski, they shouldn't struggle too much to fill his production.
