Gus Edwards Suffers Likely ACL Tear In Practice, 3/4 Ravens RBs Out For Season

The Ravens have now lost their top three running backs heading into the 2021 season as there are fears that RB Gus Edwards tore his ACL. They have already lost projected starter J.K. Dobbins to an ACL injury and pass catching back Justice Hill to an Achilles injury. Trainers usually know the severity on the field and when beat writers say “fear of an ACL tear”, you can book it. This is an unfortunate situation for a team gunning for the playoffs and the Ravens will now look for more help after recently signing Le’Veon Bell to the practice squad. Expect Ty’Son Williams to shoulder the load Week 1 and should be owned in all formats as the Ravens room is extremely light heading into the season.
