The Hawks ruled out Danilo Gallinari and declared De'Andre Hunter a game-time decision for their Wednesday night bout with the Thunder.
Both missed Monday's win over the Pacers, Gallinari with an elbow injury and Hunter with soreness in his surgically-repaired right knee.
Atlanta general manager Travis Schlenk said on local radio station 92.9 The Game that Hunter did not feel confident in his knee during warmups on Monday, which is why they held him out, but they don't anticipate it as a long-term injury.
Reserve guards Delon Wright and Timothee Luawu-Cabbaro stepped into the starting lineup and combing for 24 points on 13 shots, while Bogdan Bogdanovic scored a team-high 29 points in 29 minutes off the bench.
Atlanta has surged as of late, going 9-5 since March 3 and moving over .500 and into the final play-in spot in the East.
They have done so mostly without forward John Collins, who has been out since March 11 with both a sprained right ring finger and plantar fasciitis in his right foot, which are expected to leave him sidelined into the first week in April.
Star Trae Young has thrived throughout, averaging 28.4 points and 10.3 assists on .469/.392/.916 shooting splits, swapping between a high-volume scorer and facilitator depending on the matchup.
