Randall Cobb WR
Randall Cobb had a healthy 2019 season, putting up a great performance as a productive member of the offense contributing 55 receptions, 828 yards and three touchdowns. Previously in 2018, Cobb missed seven games with concussion issues and various muscle injuries, but is approaching his age 29 season fully ready to showcase his talents as he switched Texas teams. The new Houstoun Texan will try to stay healthy for a second straight year.
Keke Coutee WR
Here we go again with Texans wide receiver Keke Coutee. In his first two seasons, Coutee missed time with a slow healing hamstring and ankle issues which has caused him to miss 17 games. After a good start to training camp, he is now reported to have a "minor stress fracture" by Texans beat writer Aaron Wilson and is said to be able to return soon. We don't doubt Wilson's sources however we have our doubts on how quickly Coutee can return to the field. Any true stress fracture takes multiple weeks at least to heal. To us, there is nothing minor about this injury as a minor stress reaction in the bone could heal quickly but not a stress fracture. We are cautious about a quick return for Coutee and would be very careful if owned in any fantasy leagues. Coutee has flashed some potential in his time on the field, and could help fill the void left by DeAndre Hopkins, but this setback will thrust him behind Brandin Cooks, Will Fuller, Randall Cobb and Kenny Stills.
Will Fuller WR
Some label Will Fuller injury prone but we do not share that belief. After an ACL tear in 2018, he came back and was faced with multiple soft tissue injuries including hamstring and groin issues. These injuries caused Fuller to miss six games including the playoffs. With this being his second year removed from his ACL tear, 2020 gives Fuller the best chance to finish a 16 game season for the first time in his 4-year career. There will be more targets to go around in Houston now, with DeAndre Hopkins gone, and Fuller could capitalize on those vacant targets. Last year, in just 11 games he caught 49 balls for 670 yards and three scores while blossoming into a legit deep threat, and could very well build on that momentum. This is his chance to shine as the stars have aligned in his favor and we hope the talented receiver can realize his potential
Kenny Stills WR
Kenny Stills missed three games with hamstring issues, and while he had a playoff knee issue, Stills played through. The speedy wideout was an important part of the Texans offense in 2019, inputting 40 receptions for 561 yards and four touchdowns. Stills should be healthy for the 2020 season, and with DeAndre Hopkins shipped out to Arizona, could earn a more featured role in the Houston passing game.
