On a short week with an AFC first place battle versus the Colts, the Texans will likely be short-handed in the secondary. Justin Reid has been dealing with shoulder issues all season and left Sunday's game with a concussion. Given the short week, he's unlikely to play. Cornerback Lonnie Johnson jr. had a teammate fall on the back of his right foot, and the video is not clear enough to see what truly happened. However, the worry is for a lisfranc type injury. He also is very unlikely to play this week. Cornerback Bradley Roby and safety Tashaun Gipson are also questionable for this matchup with a hamstring issue and a back issue. The only good news for Houston, the Colts are likely to be short-handed at wide receiver when they play Thursday and will be without Marlon Mack as well. Johnson, Adams, and Reid have officially been ruled out. Gipson and Roby are officially questionable.
