Injury Bug Feasts On Denver Broncos

It seems that the injury bug is targeting certain teams more than others, and the Denver Broncos have certainly fallen victim this season. The Broncos face an uphill battle on all fronts against the Buccaneers this week, and while Tom Brady has yet to round into form this year, he’s facing a depleted secondary relying on two rookie corners. Pressuring Tom Brady has been one of the few ways to slow him down, but with a front seven that is missing Von Miller, Dre’Mont Jones, Demarcus Walker and saw Shelby Harris and Jurrell Casey limited in practice this week, the defensive unit is lacking key pass rushing pieces. Harris and Casey do not carry injury designations but the depth behind them is thin. The secondary will be without starting CB A.J. Bouye yet again, and Davontae Harris is out with a hamstring issue. The Broncos offense is also without four of its key offensive players (Courtland Sutton, Drew Lock, Phillip Lindsay and Ja'Wuan James) and Jeff Driskel will try to keep up with Tom Brady in this matchup.
