The injury suffered by the Giants safety on a kickoff return Sunday was unclear. There were reports of hip or other injuries but it turns out he has a transverse process fracture. A fracture in the back sounds ominous but not this kind. He likely will miss week 13 but should make a return well before the end of the season and maybe even early December.
