To us, Clowney appeared to have a core muscle injury but was listed with a hip issue. Now the official injury designation on Clowney has changed to a core muscle injury and the possibility of surgery exists. Clowney admits needing to manage the injury for the rest of the season. Let's hope he can continue to play through and be effective for the Seahawks, but at this point I think the team will be lucky to have him as his dominant self.
