We've believed all along that Gardner Minshew was capable of playing, and indeed he had already played 2 weeks with a thumb injury before being sidelined for Jake Luton. They kicked the tires on their rookie passer, and after a promising debut came back down to earth with a less than stellar performance against Green Bay. This would be a good time for the team to put Minshew back in the lineup to see if he can be a piece to build around moving forward.
