Trevor Lawrence, the Jaguars rookie quarterback, injured his right ankle when he was kicked by his own lineman. By video, Jacksonville's left tackle Walker Little was pushed back and stepped on Lawrence's ankle. Cam Robinson, the starting left tackle, left the game earlier with a back injury. Lawrence went straight to the locker room and has been ruled questionable to return. At this point, we hope the X-rays come back negative and it is more of a contusion. C.J. Beathard will fill in at quarterback, but Lawrence has a chance to return for the second half.
Update
Lawrence returned to the game and will likely have some associated soreness. However, we expect him to play without limitations.
