Rayshawn Jenkins, the Jaguars starting strong safety, appeared to suffer a fractured right ankle while on special teams. By video, Jenkins was rolled up on while attempting to make a tackle on Tremon Smith's return for a touchdown.
The air cast was placed on Jenkins' right ankle and he was carted off. He was quickly ruled out with the ankle injury and if the fracture is confirmed he's likely done for the season.
Daniel Thomas will take over at strong safety.
